Major Seventh

The acclaimed Chef Mori Tomoaki brings his Japanese-Chinese fusion cuisine to Taikoo Place with the opening of Major Seventh, an Izakaya-style restaurant in Berkshire House. Treat yourself to the tasting menu to sample dishes such as Drunken Goose Foie Gras, Snow Crab Paella and Roasted Kinki with Sichuan-style Pickle Fish Broth – all made with the chef’s pick of seasonal ingredients.

Kaki

Grilled salmon with butter soy sauce, tempura prawn and fish, tonkatsu (Hokkaido pork)…is your mouth watering yet? These are just some of the main dishes served by Kaki at lunch. Opt for a set to add a miso soup, salad, rice and a side dish for a full meal, or order a fresh sushi bento, which includes sashimi, miso soup and salad. They also offer rice sets and a selection of authentic snacks.

Tipsy Burger

Beer and burgers go together like wine and cheese – how about liquor-infused burgers? This new eatery on Hoi Chak Street serves up alcoholic treats you’ve never tried. Think gin nachos, whiskey burger and champagne French fries. Their non-alcoholic burgers also feature unusual ingredients like ox tongue, tuna and sea urchin sauce.

Flash Coffee

Good news for our coffee-loving community: Flash Coffee has just opened a new shop in Quarry Bay! In addition to the standard espresso, cappuccino and Americano, their menu also features Hong Kong-inspired brews like the Black Sesame Latte and Flash Yuen Yeung. They also offer seasonal specials – check their Instagram for limited-time drinks.

Lai See Packets Reuse and Recycling 2022

Give your used Lai See packets a second life! Swire Properties has teamed up with Greeners Action to collect undamaged red packets, which will be processed at sheltered workshops for reuse next year. Simply bring yours to collection points at Taikoo Place, Cityplaza, Citygate and soon.
