Paul Lafayet

Hong Kong’s most decadent and luxurious French fine pâtisserie has a new home in Taikoo Place. Paul Lafayet’s convenient Lincoln House shop makes it easy to indulge in their signature macarons, beautiful handmade cakes, and of course the Crème Brûlée: Silky custard sprinkled with real Madagascar vanilla and consciously packaged in recyclable ceramic containers. To celebrate the August opening, Paul Lafayet members will receive a free mini Crème Brûlée with a purchase of HK$150 or more. And Taikoo Place tenants can receive a 10% discount on corporate orders. APITA

It’s always exciting to see a favourite store pull down the plastic and “reveal” its new look after a renovation. Japanese department store APITA G/F is more beautiful and elegant than ever, with a gleaming new grocery section, revamped areas for clothing, household gadgets and lifestyle brands, a pop-up space and more!

SENSU

Contemporary yoshoku – Japanese/Western cuisine – is super-popular everywhere in Hong Kong, and especially here in Taikoo. We’re betting that this new branch of SENSU, on the ground floor of APITA, will be a big hit with our community. Open for all-day dining, SENSU’s specialties include their signature omelette rice dishes, a hard to resist Linguine carbonara with truffles, and an Instagram-able dessert called “Blue Planet,” which you crack open with a small hammer!

The innovative performance workshop Toolbox Percussion is bringing its installation, “A Double Listen Arena” to ArtisTree this month. The sound installation combines original compositions from the company’s archive, multi-channel audio and video, and newly commissioned sound sequences.
