As show-stoppingly beautiful as it is delicious, Lifetastic’s Watermelon Strawberry Cake has been drawing queues to this shop since these Aussie bakers opened their first patisserie in 2016. Now their network of shops–and their 20 additional flavours–are coming to Taikoo Place. If you haven’t tried their yummy (and gluten free!) fruity cream layer cakes, better get a move on!

Machi Donburi

This middle eastern outlet has become a wild success with branches all over Hong Kong, and now they’re bringing their made-to-order meal box with a range of flavourful dishes to the Quarry Bay neighbourhood. Explore their classic menu and canteen menu with various choices of shish tawook, salmon, tagine, baba ganoush and lamb shoulder, and stay tuned–they’re planning some new surprises on the Quarry Bay menu.

+UP! Better Living Pop-ups – Corporate Wellness Challenge: 8-Hour Charity Spin

Here’s another great wellness event to turn your love of sport into a force for community good! Taikoo Place tenants are taking part in this “spin-a-thon” at ArtisTree to raise money for Laureus Sports for Good, a global charity that’s uses the power of sport and physical activity to improve and support young people’s mental health and well-being. Support the sport event and donate what you can for a good cause.

PROJECT AFTER 6: The Pitch 2022

Taikoo Place is once again partnering with MOOV for one of the most fun events of the year–5 days of mini music concerts in ArtisTree featuring both Project After 6 musicians as well as popular celebrities like Joyce Cheng, Alfred Hui, Yoyo Sham, Jay Fung and Rubberband and many more. Come to hear some great music performed by veterans as well as bright budding talents in this gala festival.

50 Years of Swire Properties – A Journey of “Seasons in Continuum”

An abundance of blooming flowers and installations will welcome visitors to Lincoln Bridge, One Island East, and Taikoo Park starting 7 November. The displays are part of Swire Properties’ 50th anniversary celebration festivities. The colourful, living blooms and foliage landscapes symbolise the transformative journey of the company over the past 50 years. The installation is a great place for a stroll, a delightful break in a busy day, or a moment of reflection.

Hong Kong Family premiere

There’s been a lot of buzz about the movie Hong Kong Family, which stars Mirror’s Eden Lui and which (no surprise) was a sell out during its recent run at the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival. The drama, which covers 8 turbulent years in the life of a Hakka family in the New Territories, has wowed the critics–and the fans. Now’s your chance to see what people are talking about–there’s a premiere of Hong Kong Family coming right to our neighbourhood. Everyone is welcome to come to Cityplaza Atrium and watch the stars come out to present the opening of the show. This will be a popular event, so better get there early!
