White Christmas Street Fair 2022
Since 2013, the White Christmas Street Fair has transformed Tong Chong Street into a dazzling holiday wonderland at year’s-end. The highly anticipated neighbourhood event, designed by students of the Swire Properties Placemaking Academy, brings all the Taikoo Place community together for fun and celebration – complete with life-size attractions, it’s a great place for Christmas shopping, holiday activities with the kids, music, food and so much more. This year, the Christmas Street Fair also celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Swire Properties, with a theme, “Bloom and Beyond”, representing the seeds planted by the company that have now burst into bloom, a cycle that continues and shows limitless potential. The kiosks and displays will boast floral motifs, and the Fair’s decor will feature the classic Christmas flower, poinsettia, redesigned into the “Re-poinsettia” using upcycled materials from Swire Properties companies. As always, proceeds from activities at the Street Fair will be donated to Operation Santa Claus, an annual fundraising campaign which supports local and regional non-profit organisations.
