Quarter Coffee Shop

When you savour a cup of coffee that’s been brewed by true coffee lovers – in this case, co-founders Shirley, Ching, and Kenneth – you can really taste the difference. Quarter’s high- quality specialty coffees are brewed from beans carefully selected by the owners, and roasted right here in Hong Kong. If you are serious about your coffee, this new neighbourhood spot should be at the top of your list.

Carnival

It seems like food courts are popping up all over Hong Kong nowadays, but this new entry stands out from the crowd.  Carnival Food Court’s terrific and tasty vendors include Baan Phadthai (a Bib Gourmand holder in Thailand’s Michelin guide) and Sushi Taka, a Japanese spot that offers that rarest of things:  a super-affordable and quality omakase. Also in the line-up is another Japanese import from Hokkaido: Kumachan Onsen, a shabu-shabu concept famous for the teddy-bear- shaped collagen jelly that arrives floating in every hotpot. Best of all, this great place is right here in Cityplaza, another cool addition to our growing list of gourmet nosh options.

ArtisTree Selects: Urban Rocks

March is Art Month in Hong Kong, and it’s also Swire Properties Arts Month. In our Taikoo Place neighbourhood, ArtisTree is presenting a special exhibition you won’t want to miss: ArtisTree Selects: Urban Rocks is debuting 12 original stone sculptures created by Hong Kong-based French artist Polo Bourieau.

Inspired by Chinese scholar’s rocks, Polo’s sculptures are monumental in size, each hand-carved out of a single piece of stone sourced from a different part of the world. Viewing these creations up close is a powerful experience that invites the viewer to feel the interplay between nature-made wonders and man-made art. Swire Properties Arts Month

Swire Properties, the Host Partner of Art Basel Hong Kong, is celebrating Arts Month with a dazzling array of events.  A key highlight of this year is Art Basel Hong Kong’s debut of an art installation from the Encounters sector at Pacific Place - the premiere of Gravity by Los Angeles-based conceptual artist Awol Erizku, a Swire Properties VIP lounge “Chromatic Reflections”  “ featuring installations celebrating the Company’s five decades of creative transformation, and our own extraordinary Taikoo Place sculpture exhibition at ArtisTree, “Urban Rocks”(read all about it in the entry above). Earth Hour 2023 

It’s the time of year when our community joins with others worldwide to show collective support for our planet. WWF’s Earth Hour is a moment to reflect on the changes we can make together for the future –every effort counts when it comes to addressing climate change! Swire Properties is proud to be sponsoring and supporting WWF’s Earth Hour for the 14th consecutive year. We’ll show our support for this important initiative by switching off all building façade and decorative lighting at Taikoo Place from 8:30-9:30pm on 25th March.

Participate in Earth Hour 2023 by setting aside an hour to think about ways we can have a positive impact on our environment – as simple as a flick of a switch at home.
