Phi Coffee and Pancake

We love the way Phi Coffee and Pancake tweaks the all-day breakfast concept, moving it in the direction of an indulgent afternoon tea with dishes like souffle pancakes topped with whipped cream and berries. A selection of salads rounds out their versatile menu, making this spot a great choice at any time of the day.

Wheatfield X Borsch & Noodles

Think of this unique small shop eatery as the Shanghai version of a Hong Kong soy sauce western restaurant. The menu at Wheatfield X is built around a hearty tomato-beet borsch soup (made with your choice of beef or pork) served with scoops of cold potato salad, both dishes introduced to Shanghai in the 1920s by its Eastern European community. In the mood for a Chinese-style stir fry noodle? You’ll find that on their eclectic menu too. Even better: until 30 April Taikoo Social members who want a taste of this culinary cultural history can get a 20% discount when spending more than $100 on dine in or takeaway.

Vogue Laundry

Packing away the woolies and opening up the box of lightweight clothes is a Hong Kong April ritual. Fortunately there’s still time to get in on Vogue Laundry’s spring wardrobe cleaning offer. Until 30 April, you can enjoy a 15% discount on garment cleaning, and a 10% discount on household item cleaning. Too busy to take it to the cleaners? They’ll pick it up–and there’s a 5% discount on that service too.
