Tong Chong Street Market Beer Festival 2023

Prost! Santé! Cheers! We all know that this time of year is synonymous with beer, but there’s no need to book a flight to Germany — Hong Kong is home to plenty of great local breweries. Returning to Taikoo Place for a three-day stint, 2023’s Tong Chong Street Market Beer Festival is being held in a breezy new location – Taikoo Garden, our recently-opened luscious green space outside Two Taikoo Place.

With a focus on sustainability, this year’s festival will spotlight environmentally conscious practices, with the event going keg-only to avoid packaging wastage. It also celebrates local brewers, working with the Craft Beer Association of Hong Kong to promote home-grown beer brands. Meanwhile, an exclusive partnership with local upcycling start-up BREER, who collect surplus bread for use in their brews, has resulted in a festival-exclusive, green-hued TCSM x BREER beer that’s infused with pandan grown at our very own urban rooftop farm, The Loop at One Island East. With free-flow tickets at just HK$380 (and an exclusive tenant-only price of just $320 via Taikoo Place app), plenty of local foodie favourites such as Lobster Boss and Wingman providing delicious bites on-site, and even a custom-built adult playground, this is an unmissable event for any craft beer connoisseur.

Taikoo Place Wellness Series

This October and November, it’s all about embracing a positive and healthy lifestyle. "Taikoo Place Wellness Series" brings you a cornucopia of wellness activities to activate your work life. An invigorating line up of lunchtime fitness workshops that even comes with a nourishing lunch afterwards for that full mind-body recharge. Our ever-popular "Corporate Wellness Challenge: 8-Hour Charity Spin" is also making a comeback.

Workout x Lunch

From 17 October to 14 November, some of Hong Kong’s very best fitness and sports centres are offering up their expertise in a dazzling array of wellness workshops exclusively for Taikoo Place tenants. Bookable via the Taikoo Place app, the heavily discounted experience sessions focus on a range of functional fitness and wellness domains. What’s more, every sign-up comes with a complimentary lunch to be redeemed after your workout to complete your fitness experience.

H-Kore is bringing tailor-made workouts Megakore HIIT and Megakore that combine cardio with a core stability workout on their signature Megaformer machine, and the classic high intensity “CircuitKore” session.

At indoor golf simulation centre Hi Tee Golf, you can level up your golfing skills and know-how under the guidance of their experts and enjoy one of the city’s best premier indoor golf experiences.

Joint Dynamics is putting on Run Dynamics to take your runs to the next level, and those preparing for the next HYROX competition or want to get a taste of it, join the HYROX sessions for an experience that combines multiple functional fitness exercises.

Among those taking part are ONYX by GO24 Fitness, whose round-the-clock gym is opening this September at Devon House and is offering innovative classes to strengthen your mobility, stability and strength, including BURN, Stick Mobility and BODYPUMP.

Hong Kong Vertical 1000

Got a head for heights? Try this truly daredevil event taking place at the end of November organised by Outward Bound Hong Kong, the once-in-a-lifetime event for thrill seekers, "Hong Kong Vertical 1000" will see brave participants abseil 1,000 feet from the top of One Island East to the ground below. The inaugural event in 2017 raised over HK$1.7 million for good. This year’s event will take place under the watchful guidance of expert instructors from Outward Bound Hong Kong, with the support of Swire Properties.
