Pret A Manger

Pret fans alert! A new Pret A Manger shop opens in Berkshire House this month, making it even more convenient to grab that on-the-run breakfast, or that “I’m crazy busy today” desktop lunch. When you’re in the mood for a quick wrap sandwich, organic coffee, lunch salad, or a signature yogurt pot, it’s all now just steps from the office.

NAIL JOLLY

The well-known nail salon and day spa debuts a new branch this month in Devon House. Founded in 2010, Nail Jolly has built a solid rep for quality, affordable services – and now they’re right here in the neighbourhood. So why not take a break and treat yourself to a mani, pedi, massage or treatment?

Pici

The neighbourhood pasta bar is an exciting newcomer to our Taikoo Place restaurant scene. Pici’s pasta, ravioli and lasagna are handmade fresh daily, guest can choose from a selection of real, down to earth Italian pasta (Pici’s 'Cacio e pepe’ is to die for!). Save room for their delicious tiramisu and panna cotta with raspberry coulis. The crowd-pleasing Pici is a great option if you’re organising a group dinner or private event, too.

Maison Kayser reopens

The completely re-designed outlet of the world-famous French bakery just unveiled, with a larger and more comfortable seating area, a bigger cashier area for easier checkout, and power points for laptops too. All this, plus the crusty, straight from the oven breads and croissants that are the hallmark of the Eric Kayser–now “Maison Kayser” brand

Butchers Club Grille

When that craving strikes for a perfect, high quality dry-aged Angus beef steak, you now have an excellent neighbourhood option. Butchers Club’s kitchen is considered by many to turn out the best burger in Hong Kong. That classic is on the menu here, along with both US and Australian grass fed beef, T-bone and strip steaks, and all the traditional sides and trimmings. (And if meat is not your thing, they’ve got yummy crabcakes and jumbo shrimp too!.) A great value two-course set menu makes this a welcome option at lunch time too.

The world-famous designer of elegant, timeless American classic fashion is opening an outpost in Cityplaza. The shop will focus on Lauren’s Women’s Collection–everything from the iconic Polo shirt in a rainbow of colours, to equestrian-themed Italian leather handbags and accessories from the Polo ID collection.

With the multi-sensory Sounditation Journey, a series of Fitness Reimagined workshops, a time-limited kapok Wellness pop-up full of lifestyle goodies, and the two sports events from the Corporate Wellness Challenge, there will be plenty of opportunity to relax, reload and restore – all under one roof at ArtisTree.

PROJECT AFTER 6: The Pitch 2022

Are you a karaoke queen (or king)? Ever fancy yourself as a Cantopop star? Here’s your chance to amaze your workmates, reveal your hidden musical talent, and have tons of fun with friends and colleagues. PROJECT AFTER 6: The Pitch 2022 will be running five lunchtime concerts at ArtisTree in November to showcase the talented members of our Taikoo Place community. And auditions for a spot on the programme (which also includes big-name stars like Joyce Cheng and Alfred Hui) are happening now. Tong Chong Street Market x KIN Food Halls: Beer Festival 2022

A major craft beer event is coming to our neighbourhood this month! TCSM is collaborating with the Hong Kong Craft Beer Association and KIN Food Halls to bring the best brews and food to the market. Fourteen breweries, including Heroes and Carbon Brews, will offer a total of 70 different varieties, with 30 beers in any given session! And KIN Food Halls will be on hand with a special beer-friendly selection of bites.

Get Redressed Month 2022 – Textile Recycling Campaign

Experts say the fashion industry is responsible for up to 10% of carbon emissions, a good reason to rethink the way we consume clothing – and dispose of it. Instead of tossing your unwanted clothes in the bin, why not give them a second life? Swire Properties is once again partnering with Redress to collect your pre-loved clothes for reuse, resale, and recycling.
