Lego
Lego, the Danish toy building brick company popular with both adults and kids alike, has opened a playful store in Cityplaza. These colourful bricks have only become more popular in recent years thanks to the Lego movies, so visit this store to find its thematic sets, figurines and games. To celebrate the opening, an exhibition displaying moments of Taikoo local history made out of Lego is on show until 2 Jan. Lego certified professional artist Andy Hung and his team looked through archives to create eight pieces, including a turn-of-the-century cable car, the Taikoo sugar refinery from the 1950s, a swimming pool and dry docks.

Ellen Pau: What about Home Affairs?
Contemporary art centre Para Site is opening Ellen Pao’s first retrospective exhibition in Hong Kong. The exhibition will showcase Pau’s work from the 1980s to the present including archives, single-channel video works and a selection of previously unpublished photographs. The exhibition will also reproduce three major video installations for the first time in Hong Kong. A short walk away from Taikoo Place, the exhibition provides a cultural fix on your way home or during an afternoon break.
