Breaking free from the PROJECT AFTER 6: Cube Culture (2018) office setting this year, Taikoo Place and Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation (HKYAF) collaborate again this year to create "PROJECT AFTER 6: Mou Man Tai" the English musical. "Mou5 man6 tai4", the almost overused Cantonese slang that means "sure, no problem!" encapsulates the can-do spirit hardwired in Hong Kong people and the core essence of this concept musical. Built around the minutiae of everyday Hong Kong life to showcase the love-hate sentiment Hong Kongers have for their city, this musical promises to be another crowd pleaser!
Apart from the 33 cast members from the Hong Kong office community who went through 3 months of training prior to stepping foot on the ArtisTree stage, the musical also features renowned creative masters including writer and director of the show Lindsey McAlister, the founder of HKYAF; original music tracks from Nick Harvey, music direction by Amuer Calderon, and last but not least, astonishing stage & costume designs by Marsha Roddy!
