【Much-missed book sale is back! 👋🏻】
“BOOKS FOR LOVE @ $10” in-person book sale is now returning to Taikoo Place. Featuring 14 book categories across two locations, and the book sale this year will be extended to 9 days.
All books are on sale at a standard price of HK$10 each. To mark the event’s 10th anniversary, the book sale is offering a “Buy 10 for 11” scheme. At the same time, we have invited 10 illustrators to create inspiring illustrations which will be showcased at ArtisTree. See you there!
Launched in 2009 and sponsored by Swire Properties, "BOOKS FOR LOVE @ $10" is a charity drive to collect secondhand books from the community, which were then sorted into categories by volunteers and books will be sold at a charity price of HK$10. Proceeds will benefit the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA) and the Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS).

Admission Policy
- To maintain effective crowd control measures, please note that there are five admission time slots daily:
-- Session 1: 12pm-1.30pm;
-- Session 2: 1.30pm-2.45pm;
-- Session 3: 3pm-4.45pm;
-- Session 4: 5pm-6.30pm;
-- Session 5: 6.30pm-8pm.
- Anti-epidemic measures: Daily venue disinfection.
- Closure for disinfection: 2:45 – 3 pm & 4:45 – 5 pm.
- Visitors must wear a mask all the time and complete a temperature check at the entrance.
- Scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” venue QR code.
- Visitors must have fulfilled the COVID-19 vaccination requirements of ‘Vaccine Pass Direction’ (except for those who are exempted).
- Provide QR code of vaccination record, medical exemption certificate of recovery from COVID for scanning.
- Event admission will be subject to the capacity of the venue at the time. When the event venue reaches its full capacity, visitors will be advised by the staff on-site for admission at the soonest available. Waiting time may be longer than usual.
- Please reserve sufficient time to complete the registration before admission.
The Event may be cancelled when tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 is in force or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued. Please refer to the BOOKS FOR LOVE Facebook page for the latest update.
