“A Double Listen Arena” Exhibition and Performance by Toolbox Percussion

ArtisTree, 1/F Cambridge House

***Latest update***
Tickets for the site-specific performance on 12 August 2022 (Fri), 7pm is sold out. Thank you for your support.

Sound-based exhibition “A Double Listen Arena” and its nominative performances will be open from 12-21 August 2022
at ArtisTree. Presented and organised by Toolbox Percussion, the interactive exhibition is set to bring you one of a kind experience by creatively combining original percussion music and audience participation into one.

As Toolbox Percussion’s first appearance at ArtisTree, the exhibition transforms musical and creative experiences into interactive percussive sound and installation, multi-channel soundscape composition and a variety of programmes, reimagining contemporary music and creativity altogether.

One of the exhibition highlights is the commissioned Soundscape created by composer Fung Lam. His experimental way to recreate a surrounding aural experience with elements interconnecting the on-site installations will allow audience to become part of the creative work.

Over the course of the exhibition period, a series of live spatial performances will be carried out by musicians from Toolbox Percussion, including music work created by Fung Lam and other contemporary composers. Other programmes include free creative workshops and guided tours. For enquiry, please visit Toolbox Percussion’s website for more information.
