Changing Spaces

George Cutts believes that everything has both yin and yang aspects which constantly interact, never existing in absolute stasis. The pair of stainless steel tubes sway gently from side to side, nearly touching, compressing and stretching, drawing and changing the space. The open plaza Taikoo Park where the artpiece is located has been dramatically transformed. This sculpture conveys the continuous change within Hong Kong, also echoing the deep seated characteristics of Chinese principles.
