Happy Taco

Are you stuck in a food rut these days, eating at the same few restaurants again and again? Get ready to break out, because a great new Mexican restaurant has arrived in the neighbourhood to spice up your lunch and dinner options. Happy Taco has a terrific menu of tacos, burrito wraps and bowls, ceviche, and authentic Mexican drinks like horchata and hibiscus tea. Don’t forget to save room for some crispy churros! Oh, and you can bring your doggo along, because Happy Taco extends its happy welcome to four-legged friends too.

Nutsy Coffee Bar

Your favourite coffee bar is no longer located in Blueprint–but don’t panic! Nutsy Coffee Bar has re-launched in a brand new, bigger and better space on Hoi Kwong Street. They’ll be offering the same delicious selection of 100% vegan goodies for breakfast and lunch, from the overnight Matcha oats, to their hearty soups and avocado tofu sandwiches. And their commitment to our environment remains solid as ever. If you BYOB (bring your own bowl) they’ll take $10 off the price of your meal.

Karui Bento

New Location Alert: this popular health conscious, Japanese- international fusion takeaway has just moved to Finnie Street. While the location is different, their bento boxes are as innovative and interesting as always–try the Thai curry chicken bento, or Mapo tofu bento–yum! Or stick with Karui’s grilled Norwegian salmon bento, which gets top marks from online reviewers. A nice touch we’d like to see in more restaurants: at Karui you can order your bento without the rice if you want to keep it healthy and light.

Fresh

The well-known lifestyle, skin and bodycare chain has added a Taikoo Place shop, which fits right in with our neighbourhood’s strong wellness vibe. The products at Fresh, from skin care to cosmetics and fragrance, are created with nature in mind, using earth and plant based ingredients like roses and black tea, soy and kombucha. If you’d like to treat yourself to some natural pampering, this is the place.

Blooms Coffee

Cityplaza is the new location for the latest branch of this small chain founded by the well known HK actor Moses Chan Ho. Here you’ll find premium specialty coffees, design-forward aesthetics, and a menu of house specialty creations that you will want to work your way through, one by one. (Start with their famous Marshmallow latte!)

Lai See Packets Reuse and Recycling Programme 2023

Red Alert! Once again, Swire Properties has teamed up with Greeners Action to reduce the amount of used Lai See packets disposed of in landfills. Used but undamaged (or unused and unwanted) Lai See packets will be handed over to sort and process for reuse next year. Until 27 February you can drop off your leftover red envelopes at the collection points located around Taikoo Place and various locations within the portfolio of Swire Properties.
