Let’s reduce waste as we celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival. This year, Swire Properties once again organises the “Surplus Mooncake Donation and Mooncake Boxes Recycling Campaign” between 18 September – 13 October 2023 as part of our efforts to support the circular economy.
Surplus Mooncake Donation
In partnership with Food Angel, you can donate edible mooncakes to those in need by dropping off at the dedicated collection points in Taikoo Place. Requirements are:
- Mooncakes are individually packaged, unopened and still fully intact
- Within expiry date
- Produced by the HKSAR government’s approved producers
- Do not require refrigeration; non-homemade
Mooncake Boxes Recycling Campaign
In partnership with Maxim’s Group and Greeners Action, you may drop off any used mooncake boxes at the dedicated collection points in Taikoo Place for recycling.
- Clean mooncake boxes with no content or packaging
- Grease-free paper and tin boxes are accepted
