“Taikoo Place: A Transformation That Continues” Exhibition Unveils at One Island East

<

If you’re walking through the office lobbies in Taikoo Place, you will be able to see and interact with a roving exhibition that will be staged from 20 February until 4 June, showing the envisioned future of Taikoo Place as it further transforms under its latest redevelopment project.

Titled “Taikoo Place: A Transformation That Continues”, the roving exhibition will be displayed at the lobbies of One Island East, Oxford House, Devon House, Berkshire House and linkbridge of Lincoln House.

Since its first development debuted in the 70s, Taikoo Place has been in continuous evolution. Already in progress, the HK$15 billion Taikoo Place redevelopment project will further reshape the city’s office landscape and realise Swire Properties' long-term vision to creative planning and community building.

This milestone project features an additional 69,000 sq ft of lush gardens, designed by award-winning London-based landscape architectural practice Gustafson Porter, which will be an important visual centerpiece of the community.

Moreover, making the most of this unique location, there will be two new triple Grade A office towers, One and Two Taikoo Place, each 1 million sq ft that will enjoy stunning harbour and garden views.

With one touch of the iPAD set atop the interactive model at the exhibition, bubbles and tags will pop up on screen to highlight important features of the Taikoo Place transformation.

Virtually, you’ll be able to appreciate the new air-conditioned elevated walkway systems designed by Paris-based Hugh Dutton Associés to meander through a tree canopy; explore the enhanced streetscape with new F&B and retail outlets; check out new alfresco dining areas; and even get a feel of the extended open space with cascading water features and all the activities it makes possible.

Other enhancements will include the upgraded co-working space Blueprint, the refreshed private club and the new ArtisTree which will continue to blossom at its new location in Cambridge House.

All this and more make up the exciting developments of Taikoo Place, as it marches on with continuous transformation.
