Tong Chong Street Market (TCSM) marked its grand return in November 2017 for 12 Sundays, converting Tong Chong Street into a spectacular food galore once more.
Hosting unique food adventures, the market stayed true to its central theme, “My Street Tastes Better than Yours”, by offering an array of gourmet delights and local homegrown produce, found exclusively at the market.
From November 2017 until February 2018, the Sunday market collaborated with over 40 innovative food experts, passionate food vendors and local farmers to incorporate eco-living with food and promote a sustainable and healthy lifestyle in Hong Kong.
Another new addition for the market was the monthly spotlight theme, specially curated for market-goers to enjoy the scrumptious delights perfect for fall and winter. Kicked off with November’s Coffee Festival, the festival took market-goers on an aromatic tasting journey with the region’s finest coffee vendors. Followed by a hearty Pot Festival in December, it featured various hearty one-pot cuisines by Drunken Pot, Mean Noodles and more, that has certainly tantalized visitors' taste buds. As the weather turns chilly in January and February, Tong Chong Street Market brought everyone with their favorite “Winter Warmers”, including hot soups and more.
Upon any purchase made at Tong Chong Street Market, market-goers could enjoy 2 hours of parking for HK$17. (The regular parking fee is at HK$20 per hour.)
Making a welcome return, the Farmers’ Stall opened from 2 January to 9 February 2018 outside One Island East, to provide local organic fresh produce such as veggies, sustainable fish and soya bean products.
