This early summer, Tong Chong Street Market pop-up farmers’ stalls returned with daily fresh local produce and earth conscious products from Monday to Friday (except Public Holiday). In collaboration with St James Settlement Jockey Club Upcycling Centre (STJCUC), SEE Network and Athletic Juice & Espresso Bar, we brought a series of DIY upcycling workshops to connect the Quarry Bay community and taking one step further towards a sustainable lifestyle!
Passionate young entrepreneurs and organisations advocating sustainable living style offered eco-conscious products and shared green living solutions through various innovative workshops. Apart from an assortment of reusable products from Eco-Greenergy, STJCUC also collaborated with talented designers to convert the waste and discarded materials into new products. Visitors also enjoyed the handcrafted Avolatte and freshly-made juice with seasonal produce from Athletic Juice & Espresso Bar.
Kick away Monday blues with the fun and meaningful upcycling workshops at the pop-up stalls. The workshops were scheduled on designated Mondays, with two 45-minute sessions which started at 12:30pm and 1:15pm respectively.
Time: First session - 12:30pm – 1:15pm | Second session - 1:15pm – 2pm
