Another ramen shop has popped up in the neighbourhood; this time it’s inside eslite spectrum. Choose from a variety of different ramen styles like Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The Elephant
If you need to beautify yourself, head to this one-stop shop that offers haircuts, manicures, makeup and bridal services. The Elephant first started out in the heart of Wan Chai but is now expanding quickly thanks to its popularity. Tong Chong Street Market Pop-up Farmers’ Stall: until 9 Feb
From Monday to Friday, noon to 6pm, the pop-up farmers’ stall will be selling seasonal, locally sourced and organic produce outside One Island East.
René Magritte: The Revealing Image – Photos and Films: Until 19 Feb (free admission)
Continuing the theme of Belgian art, Swire Properties will join hands with the Magritte Foundation Belgium and Ludion (a European independent art book publisher) to host an exhibition titled René Magritte: The Revealing Image – Photos and Films at ArtisTree in Taikoo Place, immersing visitors in 132 original photographs and eight films by the influential 20th century surrealist artist. 1/F, Cambridge House

Swire Properties’ "BOOKS for LOVE @ $10” Returns! Until 31 Mar
Now in its eighth year, book drive “BOOKS for LOVE @ $10” is back to benefit The Boys’ & Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA) and Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS). You can drop off any books that you would like to donate at one of the 39 collection points: at Swire Properties’ commercial developments or at BGCA and AVS service centres. Watch a specially created video featuring supporters from the sports, culture, performing arts and music sectors who are helping to promote the “BOOKS for LOVE @ $10” campaign. From 12 to 15 April all the books collected will be sold at ArtisTree for $10.

St. James’ Settlement (SJS) Valentine's Rose Charity Sale: 2-14 Feb
For the 12th consecutive year, Swire Properties will be the venue sponsor for St. James’ Settlement (SJS) Valentine's Rose Charity Sale taking place at Cityplaza. With the theme ‘Light Up our Love’, all proceeds earned from each luminous rose sold ($88) will go toward supporting the service development for children with special educational needs. On 10 February (12noon – 6pm), over 70 children volunteers recruited from the venue sponsor will dress up as cute Little Angels and sell roses at Cityplaza to raise funds for SJS. Lion Dance For The Year of The Dog: 27 Feb
To celebrate the New Lunar Year, the Ha Kwok Cheung Group, will again perform their festive, colourful and coordinated lion dance. At around 1:30pm, tenants from all over Taikoo Place are invited to see the troupe leap from pillar to pillar on Tong Chong Street.
