Originally from Japan, ABC Cooking Studio has expanded all across Asia and has now opened its third Hong Kong location at Cityplaza. The space
The brand new studio is the largest in Hong Kong. It’s an expansive 2,600 square feet with a total of 13 cooking stations that can accommodate up to 50 students. The sleek, minimalist design of wooden floors and stone walls creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the studio. After building an appetite from cooking up a storm, you can chow down, socialise with your classmates and enjoy the fruits of your labour in the adjacent dining room.
The classes
Classes typically range from $280 to $480 per class, or you can sign up for packages for various courses depending on your interest in categories like Japanese cooking, wagashi (Japanese confectionery) courses, world cooking, cake courses and bread courses. If you take enough classes in a particular course, you can earn a certificate from ABC Cooking Studio.
The ingredients
Among the premium ingredients it uses are fresh parsley, basil and mint straight from its own garden. Farm-to-table is so right now.
The kitchenware
ABC Cooking Studio uses top-of-the-line, cast-iron cookware from Le Creuset. This means you don’t have to worry about any toxic substances leaking into your food from your pans.
