“Crossovers” Thursday‧Live Lunchtime Concerts at Via Fiori

06 Oct 2015
Taikoo Place invites musicians and office executives to engage in new musical collaborations

Every Thursday from 15 October to 26 November, the yearly lunchtime concert series by Swire Properties’ Taikoo Place returns to Via Fiori, the landscaped garden outside One Island East. The concert series introduces new creative endeavors, bringing a diverse music experience to Taikoo Place. Themed “Crossovers”, the programme will showcase unique pairings of seven emerging musical acts from different backgrounds and styles. Audiences will enjoy premiere creations by these musicians while taking a relaxing mid-day break with complimentary organic food nibbler sponsored by nood food, as well as cupcakes sponsored by Sift Patisserie.

First on the list of crossovers are indie rock darlings Chochukmo, who return to Via Fiori to jam with local reggae music icon Mouse FX. Singer-songwriters Michael Lai and Kevin Kaho Tsui, who both began their careers busking on the streets, are primed to share their tales of Hong Kong through music and lyrics. Soft rock act Nowhere Boys will be joined by professional songstress Tang Siu Hau to share how they balance work and their passion for music. The line up will also mark the debut of Japanese electro-pop duo Andersons in Hong Kong, who are sure to impress audiences with their Tokyo-tinged chill out sound.
