Tong Chong Street Market was held on 22, 23, 29 and 30 April for the spring season this year. During the event period, visitors enjoyed authentic street food from around the world that made with locally sourced ingredients and exclusively made for Tong Chong Street Market visitors.
Marketgoers were not only encouraged to enjoy the world class fare, but also to bring their own utensils, containers and bags to start a zero-waste, sustainable living style. Four visitors won a pair of complimentary flight tickets for a real culinary journey to Osaka, Seoul, Bangkok and Sydney!
Some of the new vendors included Okra, a popular Japanese kitchen known for their delicate flavours, Kitute’s Brazil, represented authentic Brazilian fare, and Hui Kee, the first creating classic HK-style fish balls used certified sustainable fish.
